Cultivating Your Human Capital In This Knowledge Age Develops You, Inc.

It’s the Age of Personal Empowerment, and instead of folks looking to create working careers over a lifetime, it’s necessary to plan our life to be innovators, originators, disrupting forces as we create solutions to existing world and community problems.

Corporations took over the world after the Industrial Age caused industrialists to build huge, massive factories, employing people for specialized assembly line work.

In this 21st century, the Knowledge Age is causing enormous disruption of that vast sprawl of humans who just work and retire.

Now, the individual person stands as empowered as any corporation, and we’re rapidly moving into a global sphere where individual enterprise outperforms giant conglomerates, as we see with the tech world – Facebook, Google, Microsoft, all started by college kids who dropped out of school to launch the world’s greatest brands.

That’s good news for you, for me, for the individual person.

Several books were published over the past decade detailing how easy it is for the individual person to become a corporate citizen – You, Inc..

It’s the Age of Personal Empowerment, and instead of folks looking to create working careers over a lifetime, it’s necessary to plan our life to be innovators, originators, disrupting forces as we create solutions to existing world and community problems.

This is the new playing field we’re in, and our mindset and focus must be on this new possibility, of inventing You, Inc..

As the industrialists fade from the scene, as we saw happen with landlords during the end of the Era of Feudalism out of which the Industrial Age emerged, we must gather around us life coaches, networking colleagues and like-minded folks who would propel us into living for our smarts rather than our manual labor.
